The Founders
Led by Alessio and Andrea, Evoluzione Vulturnus brings together an international group of entrepreneurs and managers combining fresh thinking with proven SME experience in Italy and abroad. The right balance of vision and execution to make the project succeed.
Alessio Maria Matteocci
Raised in an entrepreneurial family in Rome, after a decade in operational and strategic consulting in Italy and abroad he chose to focus on ensuring generational continuity for Italian SMEs.
He built his experience at leading firms such as Kearney, KPMG, and Arthur D. Little, developing solid expertise across Consumer, Retail, and Automotive, with a focus on strategy, organizational transformation, and sustainability.
His education includes an MBA from IESE Business School and a Master’s in Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management (HEC Lausanne; LUISS Guido Carli), earned through an international path across three continents.
When he’s not focused on business, Alessio is likely scribbling in a notebook or shaping a screenplay. Writing and screenwriting help him make sense of the world—blending humor, heart, and curiosity, the same ingredients he brings to entrepreneurship.
Andrea Biancardi
Raised between small businesses in Northern Italy and multinational contexts abroad, Andrea combines an international outlook with a passion for creating value through people development.
He has worked across Consumer, Retail, and Entertainment, gaining deep experience in designing and executing growth strategies both in-house and as an external consultant. His skill set spans portfolio and global brand reorganizations through to overseeing expansion strategies and operational efficiency.
After a Double Degree in International Management (Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Piacenza; Universidad de las Américas – Puebla) that took him to Mexico, he joined Unilever, managing global brands. He then completed an MBA at IESE Business School and moved to McKinsey, where he led 15+ projects defining and implementing growth strategies for Mexican and Central American multinationals.
Avid traveler and outdoors enthusiast, Andrea spends his free time training through the streets of Rome and skiing or kitesurfing in remote destinations worldwide.

Has held prominent roles at several investment funds and has significant experience as an investor and co-founder of various Italian and international startups. Paolo is now manager of Eureka!Venture ETA Fund.
Loris Lanzellotti
Founder and CEO of Entrepreniston, a consulting and investment firm, Loris has a decade of experience in venture capital, having led over 200 investments in high-potential technology companies.
Loris is also a serial investor with +25 investments in search funds across Europe.
Herbert Doleisch
Experienced entrepreneur and serial investor in the Search Fund space, serving as trusted board member and advisor with over 20 years in entrepreneurship and private equity.
Paolo Zappa
Successful Italian entrepreneur, he has 20+ years of experience managing and growing small and medium-sized companies, having served in operational, strategic, and managerial roles.
Fernando Estrada
Fernando is a Mexican entrepreneur and manager with over 35 years of experience, who has driven the growth of SMEs between Italy and Latin America. He began his career at TESI (Health IT), where he advanced from programmer to shareholder; later, he founded Bomi de México, which became a leader in healthcare logistics. Today, based in New York, he is a serial investor in the healthcare, technology, and services sectors, offering his portfolio companies both his expertise and an international vision.
Nicolas Rudzki
Serial investor and valued board member across multiple European companies, with over 20 years of M&A and financing experience.
